TL;DR:
Gacha points are required to enter and receive allocation in Fixed-Price Mode launches
You can earn Gacha points by staking $RAMEN for gRAMEN
, and you can boost your Gacha earn rate by holding a Hungrybera NFT
Gacha is non-transferrable and it is not a token
Gacha is an off-chain points system that can be used to win allocation in Fixed-Price Launches. Gacha cannot be bought or sold; it is non-transferable and indefinitely associated to your wallet address.
Gacha does not entitle users to native token airdrops. Do not hoard Gacha.
Gacha Kitchen is designed to be a dynamic, adjustable system where users can earn and spend Gacha without having to incur gas fees or needing contract upgrades whenever the parameters of the earn rate of Gacha are changed.
You earn Gacha passively when you lock $RAMEN
tokens for gRAMEN
.
To earn more Gacha, you can either (1) increase your gRAMEN
position, or (2) hold a Hungrybera NFT in the same wallet for a Gacha boost.
The Gacha earn rate will vary from time to time. Please check the Ramen dApp for the current earn rate.
During the Registration phase of each launch, users can view the Gacha requirement on the token launch page.
Illustration: Project is launching $XYZ
Gacha requirement for 1 entry in $XYZ sale: 200 Gacha
Users can submit as many entries in the allocation lottery as they like
Entries will enter into a fair lottery algorithm, and for each launch, a pre-defined number of winning tickets will be selected
Each unique wallet can only win a maximum of 10 allocation tickets for each token sale, no matter the number of lottery entries they submitted
Each winning ticket entitles the users a capped guaranteed allocation to the token sale
Gacha spent will be burnt, regardless of the status of the lottery (e.g. if a user submitted 5 entries and does not win any winning tickets, the Gacha will not be returned to their account)
Once a gRAMEN
position has expired, the user will cease to earn Gacha. Any existing Gacha balance will remain associated to the user's wallet and the user may spend it on upcoming launches if they have sufficient balance.
To continue earning Gacha, users need to manually restake their $RAMEN once a gRAMEN position expires.
To ensure transparency and fairness of the Gacha Kitchen and to assure all users that the Gacha Kitchen will not be abused deliberately or unintentionally to favour certain users or parties, a query dashboard will be built and released publicly where users can independently query Gacha balances and verify Gacha emissions are rightfully emitted and boosted. The Gacha Kitchen codebase will also be undergoing third-party code audits, and the audit results will be made publicly to users.
Instant Gacha allows users to acquire Gacha instantly by burning $RAMEN, reducing token supply permanently.
Purchase $RAMEN on Kodiak or Ooga Booga
Visit Ramen’s dApp and click on ‘Earn Gacha’ at the top navigation bar
Click ‘Burn $RAMEN’
Input the amount to burn and view the corresponding Gacha reward
Approve the transaction and receive Gacha instantly
Important: You will only receive Gacha when you burn $RAMEN via the Ramen dApp. Sending $RAMEN directly to a burn address WILL NOT earn you Gacha.
Instant Gacha is designed to improve the Gacha system and complement, not replace, $RAMEN locking. $RAMEN locking remains the most rewarding method to earn Gacha.
The conversion rate for Instant Gacha is set at 25% of what you’d earned at the base Gacha earn rate over 16 weeks.
For example, if Bob locks 10,000 $RAMEN for 16 weeks at a base earn rate of 0.03 Gacha per gRAMEN per day, he earns a total of 33,600 Gacha:
0.03 base earn rate * 10,000 gRAMEN * (16 weeks * 7 days) =
33,600 Gacha
If Bob burns 10,000 $RAMEN instead, he receives 8,400 Gacha immediately (25% of 33,600 Gacha).
Boosted earn rates may apply for gRAMEN holders or Hungrybera NFT holders from time to time, but the conversion rate for Instant Gacha will always only be applied on the base earn rate. The conversion rate may change–check the Ramen dApp for the latest information.
