Participating in a Token Launch with Price Discovery Mode
Take note before participating in Price Discovery Mode token launches:
No token-gating: Everyone can participate in Price Discovery Mode token launches; you don't need to have gRAMEN or Gacha to participate in these token launches.
No allocation cap: There is no allocation limits in these token launches. However, there is a minimum bid size.
Bid your true price: For the optimal participation experience, please only bid a token price that you'll be comfortable to buy the tokens at.
Step 1: Understanding the Launch Parameters
Click on a live Price Discovery Mode token launch to view the token launch parameters and relevant project information. All upcoming and live token launches can be found on the Ramen dApp.
Launch Terms, Parameters, and Descriptions
Spend Amount: Total amount to be contributed to the token launch (usually denominated in BERA)
Minimum Spend Amount: Minimum amount to be contributed to the token launch
Bid Price: Price per token you're bidding at
Settlement Price: The actual uniform price that all winning bidders will pay per token
Auctioned Supply: Token supply supplied for offering
Minimum Bid Price: The price floor for a valid bid
Minimum FDV: Estimated fully diluted valuation if the auction's final settlement price = minimum bid price
Step 2: Participating in the Auction
Find the Bid Panel near the top left section of the launch page
When the auction is live, enter a Spend Amount to be contributed to the launch (Spend Amount entered must be greater than the Minimum Spend Amount indicated in the Bid Panel).
Enter your Bid Price (Bid price entered must be greater than the Minimum Bid Price indicated in the Bid Panel).
Double-check the minimum amount of tokens you will receive if your bid is successful, shown below the 'Bid Price' field. You'll receive more tokens if the auction settlement price is lower than your bid price. In addition, check the Estimated FDV which will be automatically reflected based on your input.
Submit your bid by clicking the 'Submit Bid' button. You will be prompted to sign 2 transactions with your wallet (1 for Approve Spend, 1 for Bidding).
You can return to this page to edit your bid anytime before the auction concludes. The auction countdown can be found near the top of the launch page.
Step 3: Claim Tokens or Refund
After the auction ends, the bids will be decrypted and the settlement price will be discovered and revealed instantly. Return to the launch page to check if your bid won. You can view the settlement information for details.
If your bid won, click the button to claim your tokens
If your bid did not win, click the button to claim a full refund of the BERA token that you contributed.
